Beginning the Evaluations,...

In the past three years,...Isaac's come along way from being a chubby baby,...

A chubby toddler,...who could run faster than me,..

And now a very busy little preschooler,...who is fascinated with the alphabet...

Last week, we took Isaac to the Children's Hospital to begin the process of having his 'needs' evaluated, because along with Apraxia, Isaac seems to have sensory processing issues, which I've been told often go hand-in-hand with motor-processing disorders.

Our first visit was a meet and greet, along with lots and lots and lots of forms to fill out. Isaac was right at home in the large waiting room,...he ran and ran and ran, circles and then climbed and explored as such a speed,...another little boy waiting, adorable little five year old, said:

"If we can just calm him down,...he'll be calm."

That's exactly why we were in that waiting room to get some help for our hyperactive little guy.

This evaluation process promises to be long and drawn out,...we've two months worth of appointments,...and then even a longer wait for the final report,...but in the end,...if it helps our Isaac, will be worth the trouble and the wait.

Until I post again,...may God bless and keep you!
