Giving Thanks

Trying to celebrate the holidays while renovating a house as been a challenge, especially with our household in such flux, but thankfully Isaac's up to any challenge.

Holiday dinner at school was a way to get some celebrating in,...Daddy had to work, but big brother was able to arrange his work schedule to share some feasting with I.I..

Due to privacy concerns, it was hard to get a good pix,
but Isaac was very glad to see Mama and Teddy at school during his lunch-time.

YUMMY,...kinda,...it's easiest to say Thanksgiving school lunches are NOT the same when I was in elementary school, or even when Teddy was in elementary school,
YET,...look at Isaac trying a new food,
Thanksgiving dressing,...that's a biggie with the sensory stuff,
cause Isaac didn't want anywhere near the chocolate cake,
but he did eat a fair amount of big brother's dressing,
cause that's what big brothers are for!!!!

Mama's roll is also fair game.

Tadpoles are a new discovery in class.

And we're thankful to Hopkins (class pet) for helping Isaac learn to link a creature's growth
from
egg to tadpole to baby frog to FROG.

Class project poster on this subject is our PROJECT for the holiday break.

We are a grateful people for the progress Isaac's has made this year, and we are most grateful for all of the selfless individuals involved in Isaac's life - helping him to learn and grow -
and become the best he can be,
which with Isaac is pretty WONDERFUL!!!

Not a typical Thanksgiving this year with all the painting and moving and building,
but Isaac is in the thick of it,
gloriously happy
and that is what we are most thankful for,
a happy child,
every parent's dream come true.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Until I post again,...may God bless and keep you!
